Who we are

NOMADES Swiss Ltd is a private “not-only-for-profit” enterprise with headquarters in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. Founded in 1998 by Ashil Kaneshka Darmanger, our team today includes social entrepreneurs with academic backgrounds in technical engineering, agronomy, horticulture, food processing, economic development, ethnology and political science. We all have work experience in emerging and conflict-affected regions and specialize in research-based value chain improvement projects in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Rwanda, Burundi, Benin and Mali.
